Putting anti-racism into action

hey white kids!
People of colour did not invent racism. they're not responsible for it and they don't benefit from it. White people do.
we think taking responsibility is so much better than useless, paralyzing guilt. This workshop is about learning and practicing some strategies to challenge racism where we find it - in our communities, workplaces, schools, neighbourhoods - in places we live in and amongst people we see every day.

This is a *practical* workshop for white people challenging other white people about racist or offensive behaviour. this includes how to be challenged about something dodgy you said/did without having a meltdown - cos we've all be miseducated about race and superiority, none of us are perfect.
Most of us have talked about this before. How do we take it out of the workshop and into the world we live in?

*this is a workshop for white people to take responsibility for educating ourselves and each other, rather than having people of colour do it for us*
we know its scary to upset people who might feel defensive and angry with you.
its better to take the risk and say/do something, than be afraid and do nothing.
