Barons of Tang + Svelt + Friends

Sat Mar 24 2012

Alrighty, roll up roll up for another rumble in the urban jungle with a night of neo-spacegasm gyplectro bass-punk dance music.

Shun those ugg boots that are pandering to your autumnal desires of warm feet, let your worries fall like leaves and make it down to the Rattl...er for a night of ultra-hyphenated-music-genre dance partying!

** The Barons of Tang **

There's a sense of inevitability that your gonna get hurt when the Barons take the stage. But this is probably what you want. They put the "death" in "Gypsy Death-core". They also bring a lot of "core" to that mix too. On tour round Australia, they're making a quick stop in Sydney before gracing the rest of the country and running away to Europe, the US.

** Svelt (single launch) **

Svelt, a bunch of punk-junglist bass addicts from the inner west. Experience their live instrument addled love of electronic music. They'll be launching their new single Animalia into geosynchronous orbit where it'll beam down mind control signals. Catch them now before they fly off to Uganda to play at Kony's private birthday party (oops, too soon?).

** Mashy P **

Where would we be without Mashy P? Probably on the couch in our living room, without half the knowledge of dancehall and electro-cumbia that he hath given us. This free party maniac has provided Sydney with a daily supply of fresh global-beats for more than a decade, a daring import that Australian Customs would like to give him a 15 year jail term for.

** Future of Blame **

HOT. I don't know what they're gonna do. Those that were at their dooftastic-breakdance class know they got moves though. Get ready to learn from the Hutch's finest export. They are SO FUTURE RIGHT NOW.
