The Glimmerverse is here. But soon, it will disappear.
Friday and Saturday performances will be Auslan interpreted and audio described. You can experience Criptonite at the Rattler for three nights only, May 28 to 30.
Criptonite takes place in the Glimmerverse, a sparkling galaxy built from the things we adored as children, things that never left us. Our early obsessions never faded, they evolved. Fantasies that were once our escape have grown into artistry. Under the light of the sparkling crescent moon, the stage becomes a space station. Things that once existed only in our imaginations have come to life in embodied performance. The Glimmerverse refuses the idea that adulthood requires the abandonment of wonder.
The Glimmerverse entered our galaxy in May 2025.
On May 30, 2026, it disappears.
This is your only chance to step inside it.
This is neither a cabaret nor a variety show. This is a fully realised circus theatre experience.
Created by international pole artist Deb Roach, Criptonite: Intergalactic Redux is a cohesive, high skill production where story, music and movement are seamlessly woven together. Each act connects. Each moment builds. The Glimmerverse unfolds as one continuous journey.
Unicorns, mermaids and cosmic creatures collide in a glitter drenched galaxy where gravity bends and nothing stays in its expected form. Pole, aerial, comedy, live music and drag merge into a singular, immersive world that is bold, sensual, cheeky and powerful.
This is the Glimmerverse in full.
Step beyond the introduction and into the complete story. Richer, deeper and more expansive, the spectacle is sharper and the energy undeniable. You won’t just watch it, you’ll be pulled inside it.
Criptonite is a lived experience of disability show. The entire cast has lived experience of disability.
