A beatbox showcase event like no other!

The More Than Words Beatbox Showcase Competition is an event like no other! 

16 solo beatboxers performing their artistry and craft in order to impress some of the country’s best beatbox artists on the judging panel for the trophy, and a feature showcase spot in our beatbox music event, Sublingual! This competition will also be accompanied by many local music artists including DJ Qpid, Brunny and the UNSW Vocallective Acapella group!

Held at the Red Rattler, which holds a lot of history in the Sydney beatbox community, this event will act as an outlet for many artists to express their love for beatboxing and music, and allow the rapidly growing Sydney beatbox community to expand even further!

From 4pm-5pm, the event will play host to the BOOM BAP Workshop, a beatbox workshop catered towards female and non-male identifying beatboxers and beatbox enthusiasts! This will be led by Fizz and Rads This is free to attend, and registration can be found on our Instagram page @beatboxnsw.

Following that, from 5pm-10pm, the showcase event will occur! This will be a combination of artist showcases, judge showcases, and of course the beatbox competition! Get ready for a night of live music like you’ve never seen before!
