We meet on Aboriginal Land. I pay my respects to Gadigal Country and Elders of this Country and any First Nations People who will join us. In the music and performances are the stories and cultures of people caring for community, legacy and culture.
I pay my respects to this practice as it exists across culture and to the First Nations people who lead and love this way globally. I pay my respects to radical queers who have made space for us to gather this way.
Angela Davis says '...radical simply means to grasp something by the root.' It is this collective root system and embodied conversation that continues to give me energy to meet this world.
It is my intention to meet you this way so we can go out stronger and softer into the world and show up in the ways we are being asked to, ongoing.
Together in the envelope of deep sonic medicine, storytelling, movement and meaning making.
