Join artist Nicole Barakat in a special workshop to intentionally listen to plants and respond in creative ways.

Engage in a series of meditative practices with a collection of flower essences made by the artist.

Work with the energy and spirit of the plants to connect and listen deeply. Create your own appliqué textile artwork as a gift to yourself, to remember your ability to listen and connect.

Nicole recently undertook an artist residency in Paris, France where she spent time listening to one of her ancestral trees, a 300-year-old Lebanese cedar tree.

All materials and tools provided, however, participants are welcome to bring any fabric they might like to work with to make their artwork.
