She is a member of Grandmothers Against Removals Sydney, an organisation that fights for the return and restoration of Aboriginal families that are still being torn apart by government policies.

She is also a core member of FIRE Fighting In Resistance Equally and  is a well-respected figure at Sydney First Nations social justice rallies. She often MCs demonstrations. Elizabeth is tireless in her support of the families who’ve lost a loved one to the NSW criminal justice system. She always makes the journey out to the Coroner’s Court in Lidcombe to attend inquests into Aboriginal deaths in custody
