Meena Bjork Pronouns: she/her
Meena thinks she is a ratbag but in real life she has studied law, politics and history. She is a risk management, governance and compliance professional. Her past life included learning classical South Indian dance, being an active student activist, refugee lawyer, and working with First Nations communities in the Northern Territory; particularly youth in detention and out of home care, and on community development projects.
More recently, Meena has worked in the public service in risk management for The Department of Planning and Environment, Sydney Opera House, Australian Red Cross and Guide Dogs NSW. Currently she works at Addison Rd Community Centre.
Meena is passionate about providing appropriate levels of risk and governance strategies for community organisations and looks forward to supporting Red Rattler in this manner.
