Pronouns: She/They
Settler immigrant living and working on Gadigal land, born and raised in Saudi Arabia.
I am an artist, activist, and public speaker; I also work in the disability sector. In 2016 I was reported to Saudi authorities when my artwork I Am My Own Guardian went viral. My artwork became the unofficial logo of a feminist social movement, and I became a political dissident. I have been exhibiting and creating murals locally and internationally, and in 2019 my work was on display at a session of the US Congress. In addition, I was shortlisted for the Index on Censorship Freedom of Expression award.
